We've Adopted a Bee Bed!
13th May 2016
Our Biodiversity Officer Julie Corry helped us create a bee bed. Our Eco-Team will make sure it is well looked after until the Summer holidays.
CONGRATULATIONS to our student Council and the Eco Team for being one of only ten schools in the North of Ireland to be selected for this exclusive, outdoor learning project!
We will have to plant and take care of our bee bed until school closes for summer. Fermanagh and Omagh District Council will then look after the bee beds and display them in Omagh and Enniskillen!
Our school will receive:
- a wooden planter
- range of bee friendly plants and herbs
- free compost
- wildlife goody bag
- Workshops from the biodiversity officers...All Free of Charge! WELL DONE STUDENT COUNCIL AND ECO-TEAM!
